RAISE COLORADO'S MINIMUM WAGE!

First, thank you to all who've already replied to join our exciting new campaign to raise Colorado's minimum wage. CPC is playing a key role in the coalition to move this forward and we've heard from friends all across Colorado, including many who've pledged to bring this to their congregations, unions, and organizations!

For those of you who've not replied yet, now it's your turn, This campaign to raise Colorado's minimum wage will make a big difference in the lives of our lowest paid neighbors and you can help.

In late May, we'll begin a 100,000 signature petition drive to place the minimum wage increase on Colorado's November ballot. We'll only have until early August - around eight weeks - to collect all signatures and CPC has committed the largest number of signatures of any group to make this happen.

We need you to join us in this important effort. Help us raise wages for Colorado's lowest paid workers.... Help us inspire more people to vote this November.... Help us collect signatures in your community to allow Colorado voters to raise the minimum wage!

This campaign will raise Colorado's minimum wage to $6.85 per hour. The extra $1.70 per hour over the current minimum wage will help Colorado's lowest wage workers earn up to an additional $3,500 per year to pay the bills, support local businesses, and improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.

So, don't delay. Please reply today. Join us to raise Colorado's minimum wage!
