representatives of our organizational members,
representatives from our organizing projects,
and at-large representatives from our rank and
file membership. The Coordinating Committee provides
governance, strategic planning, and fundraising
support.

Lori is the Executive Director of Colorado Organization on Adolescent, Pregnancy, Parenting, and Prevention (COAPPP). Born and raised El Paso , Texas , Lori is a long-time CPC member and supporter and former member of the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado ’s community funding panel. Previously, Lori worked on immigrant justice issues for Boulder County Community Action Programs, was an investigator at the Colorado Civil Rights Division, a director for a statewide coalition advocating for underinsured children and families, and an interim Executive Director for an internationally focused surgery charity. Lori also serves on the board of The Women’s Lobby of Colorado. She lives in North Denver with her husband, Gil Muñoz, and their dog, Kika.

Pam is the Outreach Coordinator for the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition, a key CPC partner organization. Following studies in psychology, journalism, and criminal justice, Pam has served as CCJRC's Outreach Coordinator for the past two years and is responsible for organizing, advocacy, and membership development for the 112 organization coalition. Prior to her work at CCJRC, Pam worked for five years at Denver-based Telefund, raising money nationally for progressive political organizations and non-profits. Pam lives in west Denver and has two teen-aged kids - Ashleigh and Dalton - and a dog named Max. She is an avid bicyclist, football and HBO fan, likes gardening and cooking, and is excited to join CPC's Board of Directors.

Lisa is the Executive Director for Rights for All People/ Derechos Para Todos, a CPC member organization, and the current Chairwoman of the Board for CPC. She has worked for the Grassroots Institute for Fundraising Training, the Labor Community Strategy Center, La Clinica Tepeyac, and has extensive community organizing experience. A native of Los Angeles and Denver resident, Lisa is a prominent leader in Colorado’s immigrant justice movement and has served on the Board of Directors for Colorado Jobs with Justice and the Highlander Research and Education Center.

A poet and journalist, Art Goodtimes is serving his third term as a San Miguel County Commissioner in southwestern Colorado, the only Green Party commissioner in the inner basin West. He is involved in a number of collaborative processes, including the Public Land Partnership, Club 20, the Western Colorado Congress and the Burn Canyon Monitoring Task Force. He also serves on the National Association of Counties Public Lands Steering Committee, and was twice appointed to the BLM’s Southwestern Colorado Resource Advisory Council. He has won several awards for his work at bridge-building among diverse constituencies. His lifelong commitment to social justice makes him honored to serve on CPC's board of directors.

Dante is a long-time supporter of CPC and is the State Director for the Center for Progressive Leadership's new Colorado office. A Denver resident and an attorney, Dante is the former Executive Director of the African-American Voter Registration and Information Project, Editor of Urban Spectrum newspaper, and staffer to former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb. Dante serves as the Chair of the Denver African-American Commission, an Advisory Council to Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper.

Dr. Salaz grew up on a ranch in rural Southeastern Colorado, has four college degrees, is a retired teacher and school administrator and a present day educational justice and community activist. Dr. Salaz is a long-time Chicano movement activist who is well respected at the grassroots and political levels. He is a resident of Pueblo and was a founding member of the Congress of Hispano Educators and the Latino Chamber of Commerce.
