As 2005 draws to a close, CPC’s Staff and Board thank you and all of our members and friends
for your tremendous support. Here’s
what we accomplished in 2005: |

CPC stopped Colorado’s
race to the bottom of education, health care,
and human service standings by leading
Colorado’s largest get out the vote drive
to pass Referendum C. Hundreds of our
volunteers went door to door to 52,000 less frequent
voters inspiring them to vote for a brighter future
for our state;
-
Building a statewide
progressive movement with a new Southern
Colorado office and leading the drive to stop
raw sewage being dumped on a low-income Pueblo
neighborhood;
-
Leading the Colorado
fight to stop Bush’s Social Security privatization
scheme; and
-
Developing creative
and successful health care, racial justice, and
tax fairness campaigns to build power
for people and communities who don’t currently
have it.

work that CPC does is only possible with the support

by opposing right-wing ballot initiatives
that will foster discrimination in our state against the lesbian and gay and immigrant communities;

that would raise Colorado’s minimum wage;

Register thousands of new young,
people of color, and low-income voters and inspire
more than 100,000 infrequent voters to vote in
the election for a new governor; and
-
Celebrate our 10th
Anniversary of building a more progressive future
for Colorado!
