How To Vote! Denver Primary Election
- Vote by Mail
You may mail your ballot back to the Elections Division, 3888 East Mexico Avenue, Denver, CO 80210. Postage for mailing back the Primary Election ballot is 59 cents. (This postage will not increase if you are required to include an extra sheet containing a photocopy of your ID.)
Mailed ballots must be received at the Elections Division no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted.
Alternatively, you may drop off your ballot at the Elections Division location or at any of the Early Voting sites on the days and hours that they are open. Check the Early Voting schedule for locations. The early voting sites will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8 for the Primary Election. Early voting sites will also be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and will accept mail-in ballots on Election Day.
Do not drop off a ballot outside of Early Voting operating hours, on days when these sites are not operating, or at any unsecured time or location. Voted ballots must be placed by voters directly into secured ballot boxes.
The maximum number of ballots one person may drop off is five, and all five ballots must from that person's household only.

Vote early at any one of 13 locations throughout the city. Early voting will be available at the locations below from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each weekday indicated below.
Extended early voting hours will be offered the Denver Elections Division location, 3888 East Mexico Avenue: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
