As you know well, Northern Colorado is represented in Washington, DC by one of the most rabidly conservative Congressmembers in the nation and we often lose back here at home on efforts to  advance progressive social change, expand access to human rights, health care,  economic justice, a healthy environment, and a democracy for all of us, not just the wealthy or the well-connected.

In 2007, we invested more significantly in engaging our membership in Northern Colorado and complementingour Pueblo-based Southern Colorado office. Northern Colorado’s population is among the fastest growing in the nation, and that growth presents many new challenges and opportunities, especially for people of color, low-income neighborhoods, and other communities too often left out of the political process.

We’re honored to have had new Fort Collins State Representative John Kefalas on our staff as our first Tax Fairness and Economic Justice Program Director. John helped us to meet many of you and now we're hoping that you can help guide us as we grow!
